A public art gala and auction was held the evening of Friday, Oct. 18, where those in attendance could meet artists and purchase artwork and painted umbrellas, created and donated by many Vancouver’s established artists, alongside with works by homeless, those at risk and recently housed artists.
The Out of the Rain project was part of Homelessness Action Week.
