More than 30,000 South Asians have permanent resident status in Canada. They moved here for a better life, more opportunities and more freedom – mainly for the women. Two members of South Asian families, who were born in Canada, and one woman who has been living in Canada for six years, speak about the differences and similarities between life here and in India.
