On Sunday, Nov. 29, Nike decided to come to downtown Vancouver and go for a run with the community.
Promoting its new winter running gear — the Nike Zoom Pegasus 33 (shoes) and aeroloft running vest — Nike let several people sign up to give these products a trial.
“The vest really blew me away,” said Surrey runner Mario Henriquez. “Even though it was super light and thin, it really kept me warm in this cold Vancouver weather”.
The Zoom Pegasus 33 Flash was the shoes that everyone got to wear. The running shoes features a DWR (durable water repellent) upper, which is great for keeping your feet dry in wet, rainy conditions. If also has a completely reflective upper made with 3M materials. 3M is great for night running: drivers can see your reflective shoes when it’s dark out.
After Nike’s 2km run, the runners gave back the products that they got to try out, but received a water bottle and a new towel for participating.
